What is rate-adaptive ADSL?
Rate-adaptive ADSL (RADSL) is ADSL which operates in Rate Adaptive mode, in which the ADSL modem will determine the data transfer rate, depending upon the condition of the line. This will mean a relaxation of the current 256Kbps upstream specification, and allow the line to be used for ADSL at a much greater distance from enabled exchanges.
