Which Domain should I choose?

The advantage to having a .com is that it is perceived to be 'international', 'large company', dotcom millionaire etc, and is the most sought after. The downside is that you may run into Intellectual Property litigation (trademark problems) if you happened to choose a name that had been trademarked in the United States. .com was the original domain name suffix, before the US realised that the rest of the world would want in (on the internet), so all countries now have a country suffix, including the US.

.co.uk is for commercial organisations in the United Kingdom. People looking for a .uk company would find it helpful. There are very few if any one word .com names left. It is perfectly respectable to have a .co.uk name.
